Daughter of the first President of the Society of Government Meeting Planners and with over 25 years in the industry with a variety of backgrounds, including associations, big trade shows and corporate meetings, Angela has done it all.
After planning the 50th anniversary of The Clio Awards (advertising industry) and executing a 30,000 person trade show at the Javits Convention Center in New York City, while co-locating with the NY Marathon, she contemplated her next move and decided the greatest challenge would be to plan events for meeting planners. For the past 10 years, she’s been working on hosted buyer and incentive programs with Successful Meetings, Meetings & Conventions, Incentive and SportsTravel. She is a true expert in contracting, budgeting, event logistics and collaboration.
With years of experience providing legal contracts negotiation, support and assistance to organizations on a range of topics, Bruce Cox has an in-depth background in contracting research, organization and analysis of information and the preparation of concise, tightly-written commercial agreements and accompanying exhibits, as well as a comprehensive knowledge of contracting terminology and compliance principles.
He has been responsible for success in Intellectual Property/Software Licensing and related Technology Services for both corporate and government customers, and has over 10 years of specific experience in drafting a wide range of meetings and events contracts. He has also provided on-point client support in such areas as the General Data Privacy Regulation (GDPR) and vendor relations.
He has solidified a reputation as a valuable transactions attorney, able to remain focused and self-directed in a fast paced work environment while dealing with conflicting demands. He has delivered key contributions in complex and delicate deal negotiations, has bolstered professional confidence for the clients he has represented, and provided integral and efficient legal support across the board.
